When I talk to a guy online and am trying to ask him questions to get to know him, he keeps answering my questions by pasting parts of his profile essay instead of giving me a regular answer. This is always preceded by my question posted in the answer. This really bugs me. I ask what he likes to do, he answers I posted that in my profile. Yikes why can't a guy just answer some quesations as i want to know more about him than what is in his profile. Should I just delete this guy or continue emailing him and gettting these kinda answers?

Why do you ask him about something if the answer's already posted?

Maybe you could change the questions you ask and ask questions that follow-up on what he already wrote. (If he says he likes to go to movies, ask him what his favorite ones are, etc.)

Maybe you ask too many questions all at once? That can be tiring and annoying. A date should not be a cross-examination.

However, if a guy treats you like that, it's a clear sign he's not really interested in you.

From a guy perspective, I wouldn't think about talking to the woman anymore. But I have a short attention span.
