Fearful of China would not keep its promises to Hong Kong, lot of Chinese emigrate to England and other British Commonwealth country like Australia, and Canada.
Lots of Hong Kong people emigrate to Canada because it is easier to gain entry than the US, Many Chinese are buying properties in Canada, real estate prices are going up faster than the US. Some have 2 homes, one in Canada where they would live when it is summer in Hong Kong. One in Hong Kong when it winter in Canada.
