I don't know about cigarettes; I don't smoke. Since your liver processes everything you eat, drink, breathe, & put on your skin, you should consider quitting. That said, the only time I had food tasting bland was when I was on the treatment for hep c. As for the pain, if your liver is inflamed, the sac surrounding it stretches and can cause pain, although the doctors will tell you it's in your head.

yes to all. hcv does not just infect the liver, your right abdominal pain is what we call Upper Right Quadrant Pain or URQ.
if your liver is not handling everything you ingest well, chances are the waste products are building up in your system.
i'd try to cut down and quit, but then again, i'm just as quilty.
I no longer have HCV, but many times I didn't even want to touch meat let alone eat it...(that was my bodies way of saying i wasn't craving iron that is in red meat).
If your not craving food, it sounds like its time to see the doctor and the quicker the better. There are treatments out there, but they aren't just for anyone. I wish you well and prayers your way....i've been there....

Those can be symptoms for hep C, but if you're not sure, get checked by a Doc. Could be something else too, but either way, you could be receiving treatment. Good Luck...

Those are very common symptoms for ailments of the Liver, as well as HepC. Please have yourself checked out. Don't diagnose this yourself.
