Drinking too much water can be dangerous. There was a case not long ago where a young man died of water intoxication during phasing at college.
You can get water from other sources in your diet. Fruits like oranges and melons have high water content. Tomatoes have plenty of water in them as does lettuce. Milk is always a good beverage.
You can get too much of a good thing. Eat a well balanced diet and drink water when you are thirsty.

Try eating watermelon. It's amazing how much liquid content is in that. Plus, it's just a good fruit and not that expensive this time of year. Also, all of the suggestions people have made for doing Crystal Light in the water is good. I can't stand plain water, but if I put Crystal Light (I love the Sunrise Orange and the Raspberry Ice) in it, I can down it. Just don't over do it either...you don't need to drink gallons. It can get very dangerous.

You should drink water enev if you are not thirsty. Try drinking water when you are hungry, it will fill you up without any sugar or carbs. Your body is also 70% water and you lose some of it every time you sweat or got to the bathroom and it needs to be replaced or you could get sick.

Sometimes you don't feel thirsty or hungry. You still need to get enough water into your body so you don't become dehydrated. It's extremely important to keep your body hydrated. Even if you are just having a small glass, its better than nothing.

Most drs will tell you that you need to drink in ounces at least half of your body weight, but recommend that you get 64 oz. daily.Drink it anyway, and if you drink sodas, make sure to drink at least an extra 8 oz. for each soda.

Buy flavored water, you will want to drink it if it tastes fruity, or put some lemon juice in it and drink it all day long, it'll taste better.
