He actually did. He didn't know when he made Adam & Eve that they would disobey him. When they did he punished them ( and the rest of us) and decided that a little "fun " with the devil would be just that. Free will shows that no matter what, when we come to him we are doing it because WE want to. Not because he's making us.
And that is why till this day we have so much pain when giving birth & why we bleed every month.

He created all things but he gave people free will. So people have the power to choose between good and evil.

Actually He did. But He also gave man free will, a choice to choose what he wanted to do. He was free to choose to follow God or to do evil. Just like you have a choice to either be nice to others and be kind or you can be really nasty and hateful. It is the freedom of choice we all have and just need to choose which we will do.

Thank you!!! Many people will say that your question is simplistic or naive. But I agree 100%.
We don't even need to love each other all the time, but what if we all just tolerated each other? What if we weren't fascinated by gossip? What if we didn't fear/hate otherness (races religions, etc...)
Why does it have to be that we want to literally wipe out countries with nuclear bombs?
He wants out life to be hard so we ask him for help? Are you
#@%&^% serious? Tell that to a woman who is gang-raped in Bosnia.

God did not create everything. Nothing in the Bible says that.

God wanted the best good for humans, his greatest creation. He wanted them to be able to choose to love him and one another. Being able to choose to love requires the choice to not love as well.
Hence God gave his people free will, to choose to love or not to love. Without choice, there is no love. Without love, there is no chance to see and live in the presence of God.

He did. Their names were Adam and Eve. But they blew it and we inherited their rebellious natures. Jesus came to fix that, though. Through faith in Him, we can do good things and be nice to others.

because he was kind enough to give us our own will and let us make our own decisions. unfortunately, this brings out the evil barbarian in some people.
