Children were playing, and women laughing in a documentary of the before image of Iraq. Can anybody guess why they hate us? One guess? Come on? BECAUSE THE MILLITARY INVADED A COUNTRY LOOKING FOR WEAPONS AND CAME OUT WITH HUNDREDS OF RIOTS. Why did George Bush attack a happy Iraq? We didn't go there to "make their lives happy" as the government will tell you, we went there to cause chaos, technically. Your opinions/views/rants/supporting messages/hate messages?

Everyone keeps yelling about Bush. All this s**t is bigger than Bush. Go behind the scenes: PBS Frontline: "The Dark Side"

"After 9/11, Vice President Richard Cheney seized the initiative. He pushed to expand executive power, transform America's intelligence agencies and bring the war on terror to Iraq. But first he had to take on George Tenet's CIA for control over intelligence."

Whatever! You are watching too much Michael Moore! Stop watching the liberal media's perfect paradise on earth version of life in Iraq. Do you think that anyone in a highly controlled dictatorship would dare look unhappy in front of a camera. Read up on the Nazi's and Germany during the late 30's and early 40's and see what I mean.

Second, when a dictator has more than ten years to come up with ways to fool UN inspectors, hiding any weapons he may have had, we are not going to find them, at least not anytime soon. Saddam was no idiot. We only told him a thousand times that we were coming... which was the same as saying to a teenager, "Quick, here comes my mom, hide the weed!!"

What is happening in Iraq is not always what we are being fed. Most people are very happy that we have done something. The ones who are not... are killing our troops everyday. This is an ugly situation that I don't believe that we can solve. It is a deeply rooted religious issue that our government cannot fix. It is true that we should not have gone in to what we have done, only because of the massive power struggle in the Islamic factions that has been a result (something that Bush senior knew by the way, which is why he stopped short of taking him out). Stop believing what you see on CNN or any other conspiracy rich programs.

I've worked on a 9/11 litigation team for the last two years, and I would have to say the answer to your question is simply this- GWB knew that he was going to have to do something after the "terrorists" did exactly what they said they were going to do YEARS before. So, what does he come up with? Iraq. Granted, there were no weapons of mass destruction as there were promised to be, but hey, who's counting anymore? America is so numbed by the venom of this administration that it's embarrassing. To cover up the asinine mistakes, the US decides to launch a "war on terror" targeting...Iraq, a country which had nothing whatsoever to do with the happenings of September 11th, save perhaps a few people who may have passed through. Oil? That was a cause second only to covering GWB's ***. Say whatever you want about the US spreading democracy, peace and light- it's a bullshit cause to cover up the dealings of a corrupt administration. Too many people have died (innocent soldiers and civilians), American and otherwise, to dismiss this war as simply another product of deceipt. Give me a break- we should be far smarter than that, yet somehow most seem to be oblivious to what is really going on. Are we at war to end terror? If so, shoudln't we start with our own country who bombs places other than military / renegade bases? How is that different than terrorism, because we're the ones doing it instead of some indescriminent "brown people" who want nothing more than to kill all Christians/ Americans? First of all, if you're going to commit a hate crime, at least get the right nationality- Pakistanis do not equal Indians who do not equal Syrians...they don't even speak the same language, for Allah's/Buddah's/Christ's sake. Secondly, if anyone had half a brain they would realize that extremism can occur not only in the Muslim faith, but also in its brethren faiths (i.e. Christianity and Judaism). I should think that no matter one's political or religious affiliation, one should be capable of realizing this. I'm sorry, I got ahead of myself- we've all be brainwashed to believe that Christianity is the only way. If you're not pro-(this)war, you're not only unpatriotic, you're a traitor. Thirdly, has everyone forgetten that all of the aforementioned faiths fall from the same tree? The messages, values and principles are largely the same if one were capable of putting aside the spoon-fed bullshit that has corrupted our minds. Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-semitic or anti-You. I just happen to find fault with senseless vioence that breeds nothing more than hate on the part of those that we might have wrongly accused. The End.

p.s.- my thougts, comments and opinions do not reflect that of my place of business...neccessarily

I like how the morons always say oil, but we have yet to see one f-ing drop of it. If it was oil then we would be paying less then a buck a gallon now. Stop being so ignorant. And the weapons of mass destruction were more than likely moved to Syria but that is just a guess. As for the happy Iraq, just ask the survivors of families who were slaughtered by Saddam's regime if they were happy. Stupid people always ask stupid questions

No President in American History ever "started" any war. Pres. Bush ws after Suddam Hussein who was a known backer of terrorist regimes. He had already tested weapons on his own people. DUH! We went over there to protect those innocent Iraqis that Saddam was torturing. The weapons ended up in Syria, Iran and Lebanon and now you know the rest of the story because the weapons did not get destroyed. Hezbolla, Al-Quaida and the Jhadists know nothing than to kill anyone who isn't one of them. Nice guys, eh? If you're such a bleeding heart, why not go live there?!?!

Geee! I wish you people would engage your brain before your mouth!
The Iraq's knew we were coming because we had to go to the other side of the world to get there!
Saddam sent the weapons out of the country, to Syria or somewhere other than Iraq!
We have found places where they making them, and parts and peices!
Places, parts, and peices means they WERE making them!
