There is Rottnest Island. Ferry trip away from the city. Whilst catching a ferry, you can go to the zoo.
AQWA is our aquarium that is a fascinating place for children of all ages. A touch pool and all sort of sea creatures.
If you want to shop, then Harbourtown in the West Perth area has some great bargains.
