You should check his symptoms. It may be as simple as the shampoo or soap you are using. Change soaps and shampoos to the mildest, without perfumes.
It may be psoriasis or eczema or another skin condition that a home remedy won't help and may hurt. If changing soaps doesn't help, your baby should see a doctor.

Hello
I have a 2 year old that tends to get what you call dandruff but is actually the beginning of "cradle cap" dry scalp others say. He would get it when he was young and he had ALOT of hair so it was unnoticeable. I purchased Neutrogena T-Gel (under $5) and it works great. I wash his hair with it 2 times a week especially when he get a hair cut (yesss i had to cut it because he went from slick rick to a big afro) and i mosturize his scalp.. light vasoline.. nothing heavy. the other days of the week i just use his regular baby shampoo (Johnson's)..So try that out. If it gets worse than take him get checked it may be more than what you think but Im sure that T-gel will be the answer to your problem.

If his scalp is dry and dandruffy, by some baby oil and rub it in to his scalp and then in a few hours wash his hair do this like everyday for a little over a week or two to get the moisture into his scalp and that should help with the problem. Also buy him some shampoo for dry hair and dry scalp.

ya it really doesn't sound like dandruff it sounds like cradle cap. But i do know one thing that works really well, I have used it on my kids and it works great. If you buy aloe Vera jell and put it on his head ever night it helps take it away. It will also amazingly enough help grow hair. Most people don't know this but if your hair is thinning if you put aloe Vera jell on it every night it will bring your hair back. It has to do with he vitamins and stuff that is in the jell. Make sure you dont get the jell with the baby oil in it only because it makes a big mess and really isn't necessary. that will only clog the pours on his head and either give him zits or make him brake out in a rash.
