America has been hated in the Middle East since we opted to recognize then support Israel. The best way to make the region stop loathing us is by removing any and all support we might have for the Zionist aggressors.

Are there Palestinian soldiers somewhere that I have not seen? Is there an official Hezbollah or Hamas uniform? That is the price paid when the so-called 'soldiers' hide among women and children. There is no army. What about the hundreds of Israelis blown up over the years on buses and in clubs by suicide bombers? They were civilians. As for the American weapons, who do you think armed Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein? America did in the 80s. It does not matter where the weapons come from. Supply and demand dictate that. I'm sure that Israel would like to avoid civilian casualties, they have been doing their best to do just that. If they did not care, they would just march through and wipe out everything.

first of all, i hardly approve of the term "Zionist aggressors" due to it's incredible inacuracy. 1948, the nations of palestine, syria, lebanon, jordan, and saudi arabia started the war that ended with egypt's military nearly decimated, 3/4 of the former palestinian nation captured, other large chunks of syria and lebanon captured. The UN played god and placed a ciece fire line in the west bank, demanded the return of the golan heights and gaza strip to their former owners, hoping that this would quell the fighting. 1967, Israel, noticing the near invasion force building up in it's previous enemy states' borders launched a preemptive strike known as the six day war which captured the sinai peninsula and golan AND gaza again. The big bad UN stepped in again and forced the return of the sinai peninsula. Finally, 1973, on the Jew's HOLIEST DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Said arab nations invaded again, with most of the Israeli soldiers OFF DUTY. Israel faught back and took ALL of the territory of palestine.Israel kept, of the land that they conquered, all the land promised to the Jewish people in the Old Testimate, or Torah, by God. Then Former palestinian civillians then began riots and small battles claiming that palestine was still a nation. Those "Zionist aggressors" then tried to give the palestinians their land back in exchange for peace, which has been shaky until a soldier was kidnaped in Gaza, then, when Israel demanded him back from hammas, the hezbollah clamed the Israelis were harassing the palestinians and were illegally holding TERRORISTS as prisoners, (gee I wonder why?!?!?!) and thus kidnapped 2 israeli soldiers. Now the Oh, so loved Hezbollah, is firing missiles at train stations claiming "we fire them at military targets" that is one thing when the military target is a military base, but in israel, the bases are aways watching their enemies, and are better prepared for a missile attack, so, the hezbollah shoots them at soldiers. Unlike in the US where soldiers remain on base while on duty, Israelli soldiers spend 1 year of their 3 year mandatory service, in an Israelli community, where they are everyday citizens who wear a uniform and carry a gun, those being the only differences. So hezbollah shoots at them, when one soldier gets on a train, the entire station is blown up, when one walks into a heavily populated area, a missile comes to meet them there. (HERE IS THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION) The question is not If 9/11 was wrong can Israel stop killing civilians (so far 500). They just create enemies for America? But rather: Why is the US not helping Israel stop the terrorists like Hammas and Hezbollah. Why does the US never enter a foreign war when our allies and friends are at risk? Why do WE SIT BACK AND WATCH as INNOCENT PEOPLE are killed on BOTH SIDES OF THE WAR when WE could stop it. Are we that afraid of the little mice that our elephant (not referring to a political party) of a nation screams and hides like cowards behind the shield of "diplomacy" that we don't even stand by our friends when they need it the most? Our weapons are used by Israel because we have an army that supports them. We do not stand with Israel and protect both lands because the people have not seen the filth of war like the army has, and as such do not have the same faith in what they are doing, and our legislation is to caught up in what is politically correct to see what is truly the right thing to do. Israel is doing what is right, it is our government that fails to see, that doing what is right may not be easy has easier consequences to bear than doing what "everyone is doing."

Do you mean to imply that Israel has *targeted* civilians? Daft. That would serve no purpose, by definition. You can be sure they do want to kill some people - the ones that have been making a hobby of launching unguided rockets into Northern Israel.
On the other hand, the terrorism Israel has endured for decades could not exist without the tacit approval of the neighboring civilian population. Those populations have no right to expect Israel to spare the thugs they support to avoid killing a few of them as well.

500? Where did you get this number from? I think it is closer to 100, which were hurt only when they were around terrorists, which, like the guy above me said, hide behind innocent people.
It's war, and people get killed. If Israel trully targeted civilians, the casualties would be much more devastating. Hezbollah does target civilians, but it's too weak to cause any significant damage.

Israel is doing what they have to in order to protect their own people.
If the Palestinians and Lebanese did not want what they are getting - they should have not attacked Israeli civilians.
It is really, really hard to feel sorry for people who are getting the same thing they do to others.

Jimmy Carter allowed the fine people of Iran to "Host" some of our troops, without recourse in the late 1970's. Instead of the fine people there in the middle east saying "My Bad" they said "Paper Tiger". Now those people are getting there butts blown up and you want to know why we hate you. It's simple, take responsibilty for yourself, it's called "Self Rule".

They appear to be fighting the war like we did in WWII, you actually go to win, you keep attacking and attacking the country till they give up.
War is wrong in general, but when you have to fight, you do it to destroy your enemy completely and win, Amercia has forgotten that and have written rules that mean american can never actually win another war.

Define civilian.
Where you see civilian, I see terrorists sympathisers.
If they wernt they would have removed the terrorists long ago from their country.
