there is a girl that likes me, and she has gone out with 2 of my friends. I know she has commitment problems and i know she will probably hurt me. But i still like her, and im not sure if it is a good idea to go into a relationship knowing that i will be hurt.

Well, she has a pretty good track record with JUST 2 people you know well. What about the people you don't know???? You can always experiment and vow not to get trapped by her charm, but can you do that? Just do it if you are willing to go into it with eyes wide open and ears listening to what she's really saying. It takes some people years to learn what committment means, so you can risk your heart with her or wait till she's at least 5 years older. You sound like you are more mature than she is. Find a girl who is as mature as you.

Hmm that's a good question. I was going through this too,but then I told my guy best friend how I felt, and I thought he felt the same but says that he would hurt me. I know he cares about me; that is why he is not taking a chance with me because he will hurt me.
With your situation, if you already know the girl would hurt you why take a chance with that? However, if you really like this girl maybe you can show her things that your guy friends could not. Guys have ways of expressing themselves in different ways, and I'm sure you can do a much better job. If you are already good friends with her then you can build up a good strong foundation with her, but if it doesn't work out then just think; you two are still considered best friends and it didn't ruin the friendship.

Good luck,

Kaitlin

Who says you have to have a relationship? How about just hanging out and dating and not being so pushy about 'relationship' and jumping in the sack. Maybe that's her problem. You'll never find out if you rush into it. Give yourself and her a break and just hang out and get to know each other really well before making the "relationship" move. You'll be happy you did.

Well you can't actually know that though. I think you should go for it man. Because you never know, you could end up passing up the girl of your dreams because you were afraid. I learned this from personal experience myself.

well people get hurt all the time, and its tough at first but its something we have to deal with. if you like her, then go for it. never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game.

if you like her so much then maybe it's worth it...just don't get way to attatched. you say she has comitment issues well then try to see the relationship in her point of view...just dating someone dosn't mean you have to marry them... just live in the moment and don't think about tomorrow or next week...just hink about then and now when your with her...just make it count

well if you go into every relationship thinking "hmmm maybe I won't date her because I might get hurt" will get you no where and youmight be alone for the rest of your life.

There are worse things than being hurt - never being anything at all.

ask your friends what they think. they might get a little pissed if you start dating their ex (be respectful to your bros). if they're cool with it... do it. do it. do it. do it. do it. do it. do it. do it.
