I'm a good person. I help others, I take care of my family. But in a stupid moment of weakness, I said that I don't believe in God. How can I be forgiven?

I do believe in Jesus. But sometimes I think that I'm not worthy. I haven't been going to church lately, because I've been going through some tough times. I miss church.

Thank you all kindly. Last night I got down on my knees and prayed. That's between God and I. One thing I learned from you is that when Believers hear a cry for help, you can count on them to answer. I happen to be a Christian but I think it applies to all faiths. I am humbled by your outpouring of support. You also helped to restore my faith in humanity. There are good people out there! Please pray for me that I can stay sane through some very trying times. God Bless You.

Don't turn back now. You've taken the first step towards liberating your mind. Now, follow through and stop feeling like you need to repent for being human. You said it yourself: you're a good person; you help others; you take care of your family. Worry about the living instead of worrying whether an imaginary man who's supposed to live in the sky has forgiven you for being the way he supposedly created you to be.

worthy... NO, YOU ARE NOT WORTHY. NO ONE COULD EVER BE WORTHY!

Don't let people kid you. we are all in a desperate situation. See 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

1Co 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Some of you used to do those things... Some of you used to do those things... Some of you used to do those things...... BUT

You are sorry for what you have done. I think you are already forgiven, but you may want to go to God and spend several minutes with him, allowing him to cleanse away guilt and teach you. Reconciliation is important to him. This is all assuming you are a believer in Jesus, because Jesus is the only way to the Father.

If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your sins--all of them--have already been forgiven. Even Peter denied Jesus-three times! He repented of his sin and received forgiveness. Your being a "good person" should be an outgrowth of your faith in Jesus. If you are counting on your own actions to save you, you will be disappointed

Pray sincerely asking for forgiveness. Remember Peter denied Jesus three times.

Well since being good will NEVER save you or make you a saint. neither of the other things you mentionned.
For it is written:
Rom 3:20 because by the works of the Law none of all flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law is the knowledge of sin.
Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,
Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Rom 3:10 as it is written: "There is none righteous, no not one;
Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

First make sure you are saved, born again, a child of God, a true Christian. Then doing so, you repent, then SIN NO MORE.
Only way to be saved is through Jesus Christ and NOTHING ELSE' not church, not mary not baptism NOTHING
it is written:
Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.
Act 13:38 Therefore be it known to you, men, brothers, that through this One the forgiveness of sins is announced to you.
Act 13:39 And by Him all who believe are justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.
Rom 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame."
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him.
Rom 10:13 For everyone, "whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

And now don't you ever deny God again (if you believe in Him) for He will deny you also if you do.
Mar 8:38 Therefore whoever shall be ashamed of Me and of My Words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man shall also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.

First of all, recognize the sin. Then go to God Himself and ask for forgiveness. God listens!! If your heart is sincere, I promise you in the Name of Jesus Christ, that God will forgive! Recognize your sin. Ask God to Pardon You. Trust in God to forgive you. Forgive yourself. Go and sin no more. This is what Jesus told the woman at the well. To go and sin no more. He loves you and wants you to have a close relationship with Him.

God Bless

There is no requirement for salvation other than to believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again to pay the penalty for your sins. It's really that simple. You don't need a special prayer because if your faith is real just ask him and he will forgive you. For if your faith is real he is your father.

Just ask Him! He still loves you. He wants to hear from you- from us all! Imagine a father that goes to all of his son's games, cheers him on, then the son says that he doesn't want the dad to go to the games anymore because he keeps losing. The father will be hurt, but waits for the day that his son will invite him to come back to his games. That's the way it is with us:
God keeps us safe and watches over us everyday, yet when we mess up, God feels pushed away and waits until we say, "God...please come back and watch me."
So, just talk to him...right now, even...and ask Him to forgive you for messing up (we all mess up-we're all sinners). He'll hear you and will say, "If you really mean it, I forgive you. I can't wait until your next game."
:-) Have faith. He'll help you.

First Thank Allah, it is like if you thank Allah for what you already got and then ask Allah forgiveness.
Allah might forgive man anything except to assasignate someone else besides him ( believe in Allah and Allah only ).
And remember that Allah is the most mercyfull and that good deeds wipe out bad deeds.
97. Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.
from Chapter of Bee, from the Holy Quran.
And Allah knows better.
Thank you.
