i have a friend who is a boy :-). he is very kind to me. we used to talk about our relation, which is " coule be a love prospect".
Last week, he must fly to work in another country On his departure day, I was sick so I couldnt see him off at the airport. I called him to say sorry about it. And he said: " U are sick since u lack of 1 thing - a boy friend"
What is the meaning of his sentence? What is he thinking?

He is coming on to you. Telling you he wants to be your boyfriend. That you are sick BECAUSE you do not have a boyfriend.

boys aren't difficult so stop trying to figure him out and listen to what he said (don't read into it) at face value. Sounds like he said he: "thinks you're sick because you don't have a boyfriend".

Perhaps he was referring to your relationship with him. Maybe that was his hint that he'd like to be your boyfriend. The only way to know for certain is to call him and talk with him about it.

he might wanted to tell you that you needed someone badly that you can't go on your life as normal human being. i can say that it also a form on an insult, he might be hurt of not seeing you in the airport. he might want to imply that, it's your loss not his.

from my understanding... its that sence hes a guy friend of yours and he knows what your goin threw you can be sick of that one missing thing a..BOYFRIEND... or thats just the way that hes tryin to get to you.

he sounds like an asian guy...i'm with an asian guy...i know these kind of expressions...
i think he wants you to realize that you need him in your life...guys always think we NEED them. if you are happy being single, don't worry about what anyone says.
but if you want this guy as your boyfriend, it sounds like that's what he wants!
