yes -- the faculty rooms are designated for teachers and the intrusion of a student shows a disrespect. Some would say that conversely, a teacher should not use a student bathroom, but I'm not sure I agree with that.

I certainly hope not. I used the women's faculty bathroom one night. Nobody was around, and I really had to go. A toilet is a toilet. Sometimes the rules don't apply. If a student makes in a toilet and there is no teacher around to see, did it really happen at all?

Yes it's inpolite to use a faculty restroom because you're NOT considered faculty.

if you got to go, you got to go. many students have medical conditions where they can't get to the bathrooms where most are to far away. is the faculty better than the students. we are all equals. at the ivy league college i went to, everyone used the same bathrooms.
