OKay here is the thing I have very bad allergies and my major symptom is itchy watery eyes. In the past I've had to take allergy shots but got so far in debt I had to stop taking them 3 years ago, and for the past 3 years I've had no symptoms and now they are coming back.
So what is the best over the counter allergy medicine that does not make you tired!?

Claritin.
The store brand is cheaper and probly is just as effective.

I would talk to a pharmacist if I were you but for my family it was a God send for Clairitin to become an over the counter medicine!

Claritan comes in generic .
no drowsey. Also allergy eye drops help too.
Forget the shots, my doc says if claritan works for you.
( costco sells it the cheapest)

If the itchy watery eyes are the only symptom you have, try Opcon A eye drops. I use them and they are WONDERFUL!!!
