No, there is no such thing as a complete eye transplant. Nobody has been able to regenerate the optic nerves. About the only things transplantable are the cornea and retina, and that is on very rare occasions.

Yes, but they're very rare. Corneal transplants are more common, though. Some man even received a fiber - optic
" camera " to replace a damaged retina & optic nerve, too. So I've heard.

Yes. My grandmother had one of her eyes transplanted from a 16 year old girl. The girl died in a car crash.

My grandma had one blue and one brown eye after that.

Yes there is.People donate their eyes all the time.It's up to your doctor if it's right for you.The nerves around the eye have to be healthy enough to accept the new eye.Most people who have this, have lost an eye in an accident or for some other reason.
