The Male Cat could care less about sex, Until the day he has it. BAM he is the king of the jungle. He got out had sex, I would not let him out. He got mad,Sprayed a backpack. I got mad it became his male hormones and only weapon. I went nose to nose and told him no as he went flying outside til he begged back in. He thought he won so he sprayed the clean laundry. I grabbed him and made him clean every inch. Then we went to take a shower I rolled him in towel and put in shower for a few hours so he could smell his manliness. Showered when was dry He flew out til he begged and then after 2 days. His gal came by he got manly and finally I went all out he wore his spray all day ..was on leash and he washed dishes vacuumed and then i found out his big fluffy tail was his way to the babes. He is gray persian I gave him a baldy all over he was crew cut..Washed him blow dried him thew him out.. He tried to live out their but could not he begged i let him in he saw his stuff ..threw him out 5 times ..Yes he lost wt, Got worms and fleas,But him and my fiance love each other Finally i let him think he sn
uick in ..caught him . he lived in the bathroom for a week . I DE wormed him and DE fled him. I comb him and love him everyday. His girl comes by I let him out at knight he comes back in the morning, that was 3 mos ago. He does not spray anymore ... The answer is simple. He is cat you are people. He knows we get mad and dont like it . Find the weakness in his breed or just make him miserable I mean miserable.. They hate water. He must wear the things he sparys ..He wil know what the battle is for And the most im portant .. Carry him and hug it and kiss it from area to area . Yell at him and look ferocios. I mean yell. You dont let him go till he is hissing and got his growl onOnce there you have begun to winChase him out and kick his food dish over as he eats. Then give him soem food out side ..just once
do that step any time just to hiss him off. When he has lost wt .. very important lose wt. loks like poop. Dont forget the showers befor you throw him out And the hair cut was classic for short hairs .. Give him mohawk or bald streak make him look like poop. Never pass him with out a smile a rub or a hug .. then throw him out .. We are people Hre is cat .. If we dont win..We lose

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!
Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

It depends on how old he is, how long he's been spraying the house... neutering him will definitely be your best bet in trying to break him from this habit, as he is only "marking his territory", and once the hormones subside he should no longer want to do so. However, you will need to "neutralize" the odor of all areas he has been spraying while he is gone having surgery, or he may tend to smell that odor and repeat his spraying just because of that. So those areas would have to be cleaned with an agent that would break down the odor first.

It depends on the age of your cat, If the cat is young ( 2.5 years or less) this should stop it, otherwise if the cat is older the problem may or may not be fixed from getting your cat neutered. Usually cats do stop spraying after they are fixed though.

Yes! Get the cat fixed! I just went over to my mother-in-laws house and her cat was sitting on the front yard. It was really hot and I left my car windows open. The cat went in the car and sprayed and boy does it smell! I have been spraying Febreeze but I can still smell it. I learned my lesson. If you have any tricks for getting the smell out, let me know!

If he has just started spraying, yes, it will stop spraying. But if he has been spraying for sometime now, maybe not. But it will reduce the frequency of sprayings.
My cat was spraying for a month before I neutered him. And he did stop spraying after that.

Depends on the cat, but the sooner it is done the more likely it will stop the problem. In the meantime, there is a product called OUT! that you can buy in the pet department of your local WalMart that should help with the odor.

It should...ours only sprayed one more time after getting fixed (he was a year old stray) and has not done it since. Before this, he was spraying all over the place.
