Try going to your local shopping mall and walking briskly. I know many seniors who do this. It's free, it's air conditioned, you can stay as long as you like whenever you like. If there are stairs there then even better!

if you have stairs, climb up and down them. that's what i do. i would buy a small trampoline (the very little ones that are just good for aerobic exercise). jumping on that is better because it's not directly on the ground, so it'll be quieter, and you just jump in one place. it's wonderful for burning calories, fat, and great for circulation. I have type I diabetes and I used one for years. It really helped. Good Luck!

Go to your local gym, and around the time when it starts to cool down at like 7:00 , go walking/running at the park

And if you can afford it, move up to the Arctic and take up cross county skiing. Even if the snow is gone in the summer you can still walk and it won't get as hot as what we are having to put up with lately

Hi,, Elizabeth,,,, the # 1 calorie burning exercise,, for indoor people ,,,,, is SEX..... .no kidding,,,, it burns more calories than running ,,bike riding ,, or weights......
