Consumer Hotline
800-927-HELP (4357)
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. M-F
Give this number a call and speak with someone about yearly premium averages as I could not find any results from searches on that first link where this number came from.
There are comparisions for muscle cars and when they were 16 years old about the rates they paid on the second link.
You may have to have that peticular car covered with full comp instead of just liability since it is a high profile vehicle with a brand new driver behind the wheel.
Use the third link for online quote comparison from several insurance companies.Just to see whats currently out there. Personal information is required including current insurance carriers.

If you can find a company that will even write you a policy (16 and any high-performance car is a no no to many and some companies don't do Ferraris - ever, due to the cost to repair them) then I imagine you're looking at $3500 - $6000 per year. I am a NY agent and a kid with a H-P car by themselves would run $4000 - $6000 in metro NYC for a reputable company's policy if they could find one.
Honestly, you're better off going with a nice car that is not considered high performance like a 325 or 525 Beemer or something to try and get insurance. I wouldn't insure you for $10,000 a year in premium on a WRX let alone the Furrmobile.

ok my friend i will give you a serious answer. If you are able to afford a Ferrari , you damn sure should be able to afford the insurance. and you being 16, you are considered in the eyes of the insurance company as a "inexperienced driver" and a high performance sports car in that mixture. it is gonna be high, and I mean very high. The best thing to do is go around and get quotes. I am being honest with you dude. Im not trying to be smart or rude.
There is really no one that is going to be albe to tell you exactly what you are going to pay, because there are several factors looked at when a insurance quote is given, I will list them.
1. your age
2. the kind of car you are going to be driving
3. your driving record
4. where you live, (in the city or out in the country)
5. If the car is going to be used for work or for pleasure
6. If used for work, they will want to know how many miles you
drive from home to get to your job.
Now here is the bad news. The chances are that no insurance company is going to write a policy just for yourself, because you are 16. Many companies will not write policies for persons under 18.

first of all i would check on the use. if this vehicle is not a daily driver and u have another vehicle to use as the daily driver. You can get a classic policy which will benefit you quite a bit in premiums. If not you will need to get a company that will first take you and then also taking a high end vehicle. You can check my web site, i deal with 70 different carriers and maybe able to refer you to someone. I have offices all over CA.

Insurance rates are based on the Drivers age, sex, marital status, driving record and how long the driver has been licensed. They are also based address, miles driven per year, type of car (Vehicle Value), safety restraints, anti-theft device and type of engine & Tranny the car has.
