Is 'God' the literal translation of the Arabic word 'Allah', or does 'Allah' mean something else.
And, yes, I know that Allah IS God, that's not the question. I'm asking if 'God' is the only translation.

No. Allah is the name used in Islam to talk about God. God is the name in English, and by Christians used to talk about God.
The real name of God can;t be said or pronounced, and is not written anywhere. In hebrew they use the hebrew equivalent of the letters YHVW, which some people rponounce as "Yahweh". Also, it is shortened to Yah, Yahu, or Yeho, which is whre the name Joushua comes from. Another name used in scripture is Elohim, and El Shaddai.
In the Koran, it is said, that there are 99 names for God. Allah is the first of the 99 names. Ar-Rahman is the next one, followed by Ar-Rahim, and so on.
See the source below for the remaining names. It is said that he who memorizes all 99 names will enter paradise.
Again, these describe the attributes of God, but not his real name.
To try and answer your question again, and better, in English, most people use the term "God" to mean the god Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. When you say Allah, they know that you mean God, but as seen through the eyes of Islam.
Muslims in the west use the name interchangeably, as the Koran says "our God is the same as your God".
Also, there are no english words similar to the name "Allah" in english. It is not confused to mean something different.
Christians and Jews would never use his name as Allah in their churches or temples though.

Allah is not the same as yaweh, the God of the Bible.
In fact, Allah was derived from various pagan gods and has nothing to do with the God of the Bible.
Don't be deceived; Allah is a deception and a false god, NOT the same as the real God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

yes the word Allah literally translates to God in English, people don't understand that but it really does and it's nothing different than the same God that other monotheistic religions worship!

The word Allah, as far as I know, has two parts, first is Al ( the ) and second is ILAH ( God ), so the word Allah literally means The God. It is like if you say " The creator ".

It actually means "the god". In Arabic, "al" is a particle that modifies the following word to mean something specific as opposed to general. In English, the similar concepts would be "the god" or "a god".

Jesus never prayed to God, he always prayed to Allah.
It is the same word that Arab Christians use when they speak of God, Allah.
It's called having a different language not an imaginary being or false God.
There is only one God but He has as many names as there are languages.
