Im afraid that if I tell him, it would make things totally akward between us. I know hes not the kind of person to be mean about it, but I still want to be able to talk to him normally after I tell him. What should I do?

Try throwing hints and observe his reactions. Be nice but not imposing. If he is interested, he will pick up the hints and work his way towards you.

OMG!! i am going through the same thing this guy that i really like i think it would be akward to tell him 2 and i didnt but i kinda did but in secret b-cuz he sent me this love calculater thing and he said do this and u kno i like this guy so i would do anything 4 him lol so i did it and the thing said put ur first and last name and 3 of ur chrushes names and we will match u up with the 1 that suits u best and of corse im a dumb blonde so i did it and i pushed accept and a white screen came up and said "U HAVE BEN TRICKED THIS IS NOW GOING BAK 2 u kno the guy i like im not gonna say his name cuz he has yahoo lol" well anyway i had put his name on it and i was like OMg wat have i done i felt so uncomfratable cuz i sit next to him in language arts and so my point would be.... Dont do it mabey wait a while b-cuz if u do and he doesnt like u as more than a friend it will get soooo uncomftrable talking to him and even just seeing him

Trust me from experience. Tell him. You have to tell him, or if you're too scared to tell him just make a move, kiss him or something and see if he's into it. But the longer you wait, the more it'll eat you up inside. You need to know if he likes you. If he does you guys can build something, if he doesn't you can move on, and if you never ask then you'll spend the rest of your life wondering... what it? And that's a regret you don't want to have. OK well first you should go up to him and ask him if he likes you and tell you how you feel. If you come to find that he don't feel the same way you can always use a cover up like it was a dare to tell you that, but if he does feel the same way then there ya go! :D But only use the cover up if u feel he will take it the wrong way or only if you want to! I would say wait cause if you know that he dont feel that way it will makes things akward. I did and now talking to him is different and we dont hang out anymore. Be careful not to ruin a friendship.

Communication is a major part of any relationship. If you allow fear to enter, this guy may never really see the kind of person you really are and you won't see him. Take the chance, it's just words, unless you have left out some stuff.

First ask him a couple of questions. Try to figure out if he feels the same way about you. Flirt a little and see if he bites back. Then go in for it and tell him how you feel. What do you really have to loose. Who knows he may feel the same way about you.

Tell him how you feel, just tell him that you want things to be the same between you guys!!! But, if he likes you back don't go out with him cuz if ya'll end up breaking up NOTHING will be the same!!! Trust me, I have been through that a few times!!!!!

Tell him, and go for it. To be more than friends, doesn't mean you can can't talk about things, normally. Once you tell him, wait for him to reply. DOn't jump to conclusions. Base your next decsion on what he says, in reply to your telling him. It will be alright, regardless. There's nothing to fear, especially if he's not the type to be mean about it.

Tell him how you feel,if he is as nice and genuine as you believe then there will be no problem if he doesnt feel the same about you;and if he is not as nice as you thought then at least you found out.The worst thing is not finding out and always wondering "what if" !
