Deviled Eggs Marzetti Style

12 eggs, hard-boiled and shelled

1/2 cup Marzetti Original Slaw Dressing

3 tbsp. Classic Yellow Mustard

Salt and Pepper to taste

Paprika, parsley or ground pepper

Cool eggs and slice in half. Remove yolks and put in a bowl; set whites aside. Add the remaining ingredients to the yolks. Mix until smooth. Salt and pepper to taste. Fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture. Sprinkle with paprika, parsley or ground pepper.

Prep Time: 20 min Cook Time 15 min.

Makes 6 servings.

BBQGuides notes: Don't make the mixture runny by following this recipe EXACTLY. Start with a lesser amount of Slaw and Mustard. Of course you can do it all to taste but there is nothing like Marzetti's Slaw Dressing.

ANOTHER VARIATION would be to use LITE Marzetti's with SOME salt, about a tablespoon of SUGAR and a LITTLE Vinegar. Start and go slow adding liquid!

This is one of the best stuffed egg recipes I've come across, the one that looks great and tates great

4 eggs
8 ounces cooked ham
4 tablespoons grated mild cheese
4 tablespoons sour cream
2 teaspoons mustard (your favourite)
salt and pepper
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill or chives
3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 ounce butter, melted
1 sprig fresh parsley

Make a small hole into the large end of each egg and lower into boiling water.
(I have made these many times without putting a hole in the egg).
As the water returns to a boil, roll the eggs around for 2 minutes to help set the yolks.
Cook for a further 8 minutes.
Drain and rinse then leave in cold water until ready to use.
Shell them, halve them lengthways and carefully remove the yolks.
Mix the yolks with all of the remaining ingredients, except the breadcrumbs, butter and parsley.
Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
Sprinkle over the breadcrumbs and drizzle with melted butter.
Place under a preheadted grill/broiler for about 3 minutes until crisp and golden brown.
Garnish with parsley.

when they are done, pour out the hot water and fill with cool water. The eggs should be completely cooled off in order for the shell to peel off without ripping the egg apart. After you peel them, slice them vertically down the center. Put the yolks in a bowl. Then add a drop of mustard, quite a bit of miracle whip, and a pinch of sugar. You just have to add to fit your taste. Some don't put sugar in, but vinegar instead. I don't like it that way so it do sugar, but whichever works for you! Then stir it up and scoop the yolk into the whites. Dash with paprika. MMM Good!

chill the eggs in ice water quickly. Crack and peel eggs. Cut each egg in half and scoop out the yolk into a med. size bowl. For one dozen eggs, add 1 tsp. dried onion, or you can chop up finely a fresh onion and use 1 tsp. Add 3 TBsp. of mayo (either Miracle Whip Salad dressing or real mayo). 1 - 2 tsp. yellow mustard and 1 -2 TBsp. vinegar. Oh, I also add 1 TPsp. dried parsley. Mash yolks with above ingredients till smooth and well blended.
Then scoop into egg whites and heap. When finished sprinkle with paprika and refrigerate covered overnight!!

Deviled Eggs Two Ways
Ingredients:
Cajun:

6 jumbo eggs, hard cooked, peeled
1/2 C mayonnaise
1 t Spice Hut Cajun Rub
1 t Coleman`s Dry Mustard
salt and pepper to taste
8 slices bacon, diced, cooked, drained, divided
1 1/2 T minced chives, divided

Preparation:

Cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and mash with a fork in mixing bowl. Stir in mayonnaise, cajun rub, dry mustard, salt, pepper, all but 2 T bacon and 1 T chives. Mix well. Spoon into egg whites. Sprinkle remaining bacon and chives over.

******************************************************

6 hard-cooked extra large eggs
¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 ½ tightly packed teaspoons freshly grated or prepared horseradish (add more or less horseradish according to your taste)
salt and pepper to taste
chopped chives
radish sticks (cut radish into thin slices, then cut the slices into sticks with red skin at either end)
Cut eggs lengthwise and remove yolks into small bowl, keeping egg white halves intact. Discard four of the egg white halves. Mash yolks with a fork or a whisk until very fine. Add mayonnaise, mustard and horseradish, and salt and pepper to taste. Blend with a rubber spatula until creamy.
Using two spoons as if dropping cookie dough, divide filling among the eight remaining egg white halves. Top with chives and radish sticks. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I live on the Chesapeake Bay and my favorite hint to share about deviled eggs is to sprinkle a little crab seasoning (Old Bay) on top of the eggs instead of paprika. Everyone loves it!

OK, now you have all done it! Now I have to have deviled eggs.
My family uses mayo and dry mustard, so does Betty Crocker.
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt. 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 Tablespoons salad dressing, vinegar,or light cream
Cook the eggs and peel them. Mash the yolks, add the ingredients, spoon the mix into the eggs, and your done.
Betty also has a catsup-flavored kind, lessen the amount of the salt, omit the salad dressing, and add 5 tablespoons of catsup.
