He flirted with me for a while, with big smiles and sometimes after speaking to me a couple winks. Checked me out when I had on something kind of low cut. Looked at my eyes and then seemed to look down at my lips a couple of times. But now doesn't flirt at all, just acts normal. Can't talk to me on a personal level just asks me questions when their work related. Actually is more flirty with this lady that I know he has no interest in. Was he just playing me and now just ended the playing. What happened to bring it to this end result. I'm quite a bit older could this be why?

We guys love to flirt, is in our genes, and I'm not justifying us, but to better understand a guy, you have to understand the way his brain works, we like to call the attention of several ladies at the same time, when one of them gives us the opportunity, we concentrate our efforts in that particular one, if this person is the ONE, then we forget about the other ladies, if she is not, then we re concentrate our efforts with the other ladies, some of us even after we settle down, going top keep looking for action because our partner was not what we expect.
Age has nothing to do with it
He may have something going on, dating a lady takes a lot of effort and money
Sometimes a guy forget that women have menstruation, and some women react very negative during these lapses, and the guy may think she is just rejecting him.
Of course guys are not all the same, just use this inside point of view as a reference

Probably that guy is just insecure around ladies so acting like a total playboy is part of his "Why don't we get to know each other?" act. Believ it or not, guys are self conscious too, except they don't deal with it like we do (skirt pulling and hair twirling), they try to act cool, confident and "macho". But when he becomes friends with that person, he is more confident that she will understand him, so there is no more need to put up an act.
Since he does it to someone you say he has no interest in, that must be his way of hiding his insecurities when he meets girls. He just wanted to meet friends, even though he made it seem like a lot more.
Or maybe he did find you interesting, but quickly moved on. Some guys are natural flirts (like us girls) who don't take this so seriously and would rather "spread themselves around" to the newer, more interestng people that come into their lives.

The age issue could be a reason. Is he flirtatious with every female? It could just be that's his personality.
Be EXTREMELY cautious with this one. This could be seen as sexual harassment particularly as you are older.
You should also know that office romances aren't a good idea. They end more often than not and one of you will usually end up getting moved or terminated. Is it worth the risk?

I would say he's interested, but he might be cooling off.
wear some more low cut tops, and ask him questions that you know he knows the answers too. Guys like to feel smart (we girls gotta take pity on them), and that will help him feel more confident with you too.
or it might be that he's interesred, but perhaps theres a new 'interest' in his eyes, perhaps outside of work.
Get his attention some more!

You didn't give him the response he was looking for.Which was to flirt back,so he moved on to someone he thinks will respond differently.Sounds like a so called player,your better off unless you want to play games?

I think he's just a flirt. On and off type of guy. Or, he could have liked you, and now lost interest because it didn't seem like you were interested in him.

it could be that he felt intimidated by what you mentioned about being older. if thats the case then he might feel like you are not interested in someone younger thats the problem most of the time, maybe you should talkt to him about it, and try to see what its on his mind

How much older are u than he? Sounds like he was flirting and u didn't reciprocate, so he's moved on......young guys get horny and lose interest when a woman doesn't reciprocate.......and when they've lost interest, its over....
