With the US in Afghanistan and Iraq, Israel in Lebanon, the West Bank, and Gaza, and with evidence of Iran and Syria's involvement with terrorist activity in these wars piling up, is the end of the war on terror approaching sooner than we thought?

I doubt whether this is the end of war on terrorism. It could well take us into the next stage or level of this war.

The Arabs and the Jews have been fighting for over 3000 years. Niether has the power to eliminate the other. So they are like 2 little boys, they pick, punch now and then, throw rocks, talk S#*T!, and titty fight!
The Arabs ran out the Jews out Judha 1500 years ago. The Jews made a come back in 1947-8. They have fought ever since. They get tired, stop for while, then some Arab blows himself up and the S#*T hits the fan!
I think WE will have terminate ALL the Arabs to have peace. WE could blow EVERY Arab city off the map at 3am any morning we gave the order. Till we have that lind of resolve, the BS will continue, the little boys will keep titty fighting!

There'll be no end to terror anytime soon. Despite the expert advice of the Defense Department and uncounted numbers of career diplomats and the great majority of our allies around the world, George Bush has initiated a policy of aggression that has run out of control. We The People will be paying in spades for the next seven generations. The man and his supporters are demented and incarceration in a supermax prison is too good for the lot of 'em.

Armageddon begins! A world involved war over religious beliefs. Al Queda succeeded in starting jihad with a force less than 50 combatants. They caused enough damage for us to recognize them, but due to Americans overwhelming outcry for military justice our president went to the only place in the world at the time we could blow someone up with out immediate political reprisals. This in turn put a large amount of Americans in the middle east where more religious fanatics can kill the "infidels" thereby increasing that groups size of combatants and popularity amongst similar groups in bordering countries. Now they take advantage of the situation, and their governments know that we will do NOTHING in effort to advert the impending WWIII, and it begins. Countries now fire nuclear capable missiles over US allies in effort to provoke us and "Test the Line" of our resolve. And to think all it took was a couple airplanes and alot of pussy countries that won't let our cowboy pres kick *** the way real AMERICANS would have. But what we got is a fear to open mail for fear of an epidemic, and i can't buy cigarettes from the store without looking at a one time friend in wonder if i need to kill him because he wears a turbin!

I don't think the war on terror is win-able. It's hard to wage war on an ideal. Take the war on drugs for instance.

We might overthrow all the governments of those countries you mentioned, but that really won't fix the problem of globalization.

No, I don't think that end of the war on terror is nearing the end. I think we are in approach to the end of the world and the Apocalypse will begin.

It will never end. That was the whole point in "declaring war". Just like the "war on drugs" the government will drag this on and on and on all in the name of money. Plenty of people getting RICH on this so-called WAR.

A devastating new non-nuclear weapon will soon appear on the battlefield.

It will act to balance power. The mighty will fall and the underdog will rise.

If you want to fight, i'll make you do it face to face.

No more unfair advantage.

You want war? I'll make it hell.
