I'm a fan of the Food Network for many years; always looking for new and interesting recipes as I love to cook. But when Rachel Ray comes on, I immediately change the channel! Why is she still on TV with that big head of hers??? She used to be tolerable when she first came on air but she's so full of herself and obnoxious! What say you?

I agree. And how did she get all of those other shows? $40 a Day, Tastey Travels. And that laugh is probably the most annoying thing about her. No, I thought of something more annoying: the way that she abbreviates everything. GB for garbage bowl, EVOO extra virgin olive oil. I think that she should just SU shut up for a while. Maybe then she will be tolerable again.

She's not obnoxious at all.
She's a little bubbly but I like many of her recipes and I like the show where she eats for a day for under $40.
Ina Garten seems kinda snooty but her recipes are really good too-in fact I made one today.

Rachel ate at a place close to where I live. My wife and I went there because we could not believe the prices. But when we ate there the prices were much higher than what she quoted....I think she gets special prices for her show...

She's not. They are on camera. They have to have huge personalities. Why do people go crazy over actors who you see in the news are complete jerks? At least she is serving a purpose for us and giving us tips. We all have people we like and don't like. I happen to like her. To each their own.

I like the concept of the shows she does...but I agree, I don't like watching her. Iron Chef, now that's a cool cooking show!

She's great. Love her 30 min meal ideas.
I think her enthusiasm is great and she truly loves what she does.
And yes she is more bubbly than she use to be, but she married now and seems to be very happy.
If you don't like her show. don't watch it. Simple as that!!!

I really like her shows, although $40 a day isn't very realistic. I'm glad I'm not her waitress. She's fun to watch.

I say the opposite. I didn't like her at first and she grew on me! Now I love her! Weird, huh?
I don't think she's full of herself.... just confident... and I like that!
