Jews are the only people I know of that are circumcised for religious reasons. Many people are circumcised right after birth by their doctor for hygienic reasons or because the doctor recommends it. My brothers were both circumcised and it had nothing to do with their religion.

No religion will make a person circumcised. It is a medical procedure that one decides on based either or personal preference or religious proclivity. Judaism is the only relgion that I know of in which a person decides to become circumcized based on faith--it has to do with cleanliness and purity. Christianity does not require nor even suggest its members become circumcized--though many choose to do so. It is not part of the tenants of the faith.
