Wait until u feel ready there is no need to rush into anything cause rushing is not gonna make it easier for u to get over your deceased bf. And since he died when u were both still together the closure issue will be really hard to acheive that may be make it harder for u to date again. I mean wait till u feel ready and know that u found someone that u can be with and someone that u wont try and compare to him cause that is what most people do well i know that i did and it took me many years before i could date a guy without comparing him to my deceased bf. I went to the cemetary to his grave and talked to him for hours and that was when i knew that i would be all right.

First let me say that I'm sorry to hear about yourloss. In my own opinion, it's too soon to begin dating if you have not properly grived his loss first. And grieving is a process that varies from person to person, so for me to put one magic number on a certain timetable, really wouldn't be helping much. Really since every individual is different, simply give yourself ample time to deal with whatever feelings you have. And if anyone else thinks it might be too soon, when you're ready, they shouldn't be judging you... I would kindly let them know that you've grieved his loss in your own way, and you simply can't continue to live in the past, and must pursue newcompanionship now. Good luck to you!

i agree with that person up there. it just matters when you are ready to move on. because it doesnt make sense someone telling you that you should wait a month. and even when that month comes by, youre still sad about your boyfriend. right?

wait until you feel comfortable to date again. dating right away just says one thing.......you really did not love him like you wanted to. however you will still be part of that family. GOD BLESS YOU AND GOOD LUCK IN WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU CHOOSE.
