Whoo Hoo! I bet you made an A+ in geography class.
There are tribal kings still in both regions of East and West Africa, but there are a bunch of independent countries in those areas. All of them with some sort of president, as variously entitled. The presidents or prime ministers are the political heads, but for tribal groups inside those countries there are the occasional king or head man of varying titles. One of them may have some archaic and grandeous aspiration of such, but they have no such domain--not now, and not in ancient history. Sorry.
