I work for a LASIK surgeon. Even though I have not had the surgery, most patients would tell you little or no pain, a slight scratchy feeling like a piece of sand is in your eye.

Depending on your prescription, the better the Rx, the better the results. I have seen patients after surgery with 20/20 or 20/15. Not too shabby.

The procedure takes about 15 minutes from start to finish. The most time taken is prepping the patient. The actual laser work takes only a few moments.

Hope that answers your questions.

I had Lasik 2 months ago. It took around 15 minutes for both eyes. It wasn't painful (your eyes are anaesthetised during treatment) but stung a lot for the 6 hours afterwards. You can take painkillers the first day, then you should be fine the next day.

You then have 2 weeks of having to keep water away from your face and wearing special eye guards at night so you don't rub your eyes. After that, you should be fine.

My eyes aren't perfect but a lot better than before.

We can likewise dependably do exercises. There are exercises, for example, rolling your eyeball to form an undetectable square that are constantly recommended by the doctors to improve one's vision. I don't think about rapidly as there is no quick approach to reach one's objective.

Vegetarians can help to improve one's vision. I accept it in light of the fact that I am a vegetarian and my eye short-sightedness power remains the same without any increase after around 2 years.
