Christians just want someone to hate. It says NOTHING in the bible that says gays are wrong or sinners.

First of all...
Being a christian really isn't applicable. So let's remove religion of any kind from your question and get to the real core of your question.
Which, as near as I can tell, is why, in our day and age are gays still held as a sinful freak and non deserving of some of our most basic civil rights.
Would that be about right?
God didn't make gays. They, like the rest of us, are man and women made using exactly the same method that produces an asthmatic, a Downs Syndrome or a heterosexual child.
Ultimately, for now, anyway, we only know what we are scientifically told and it's, for at least some part, simply the luck of the draw.
Now, about the hating gays part. I want you to stop and think for a minute...
Where exactly did you get your sex education. Anything you were taught about genetics vs. environmental influences or other factors contributing to the make-up producing homosexuality.
Where'd you say that was you learned that?
Never happened, right? In fact you never received a proper sex education, of any kind, anywhere. Not in school, not at home and for the most part, only by innuendo in the street.
No one else has either..That's the problem.
Ignorence,..
no one knows what the hell their talking about and are afraid of anything they either don't know or don't understand.
50 years ago A Downs Syndrome child was institutionalized at birth, doomed to an institutionalized life..
Thankfully time and understanding have changed previously thought beliefs surrounding Downs Syndrome.
For your average American, homosexuality's being concidered sexual deviants and being sexual in nature will take a sexually ignorant, repressed nation a while to handle realistically.
An amazing amount of people, including the parents of homosexuals and religious leaders, believe it's a life choice and capable of being cured through any one of a few medical sources or by reading the Bible and attending church regulary. various.

God made the people who made themselves "gay" (by the way, a century before, "gay" meant heterosexual promiscuity, about half-way in between it meant you were a lush, a drunken party animal).
Careful with the word "hate". Some Christians use a passage from the Bible, in Psalms, which says "I hate those who hate thee [God] with a perfect hatred". There is a little more to the story and some folks get carried away with the phrase of the day approach to Bible reading. Actually, if you were a mind reader and looked into the thoughts (which I am judging by the vehement words, and body language exhibited) of the standard (hint, stereotypical thinking, which can get one into trouble sometimes) gay person thinking about Christians and then compare that to the standard Christian thinking about gay persons--I expect you will find the inverse is more true, Gays hate Christians a whole lot more than Christians hate gays. Actually, Christians are a pretty accepting lot. If I went into a gay bar and started quoting the Bible, there would be a whole lot more anger than if a gay person were to sit in a church and talk tolerance of alternative lifestyles. Both would be shown the door if we were disruptive, but the gay person would be permitted to walk out untouched.

Christians don't hate gays (a small percentage actually do; google Fred Phelps). I'm Christian and I don't hate gays. It's the sin that we dislike.
God made everyone, however, we are all born into sin. Just because someone claims that they were born gay doesn't mean that they can't change.

No, God made those who made themselves homosexual. Just like God did not make a thief, they chose to be a thief.
