Ok so lately my boyfriend has been just perfect. like not to sound stuck up or whatever but he has. I have been talking to him at least 5 times per day and he tells me he loves me constantly and I have to say it back because I have never felt this way before? So how do I know if this is really it? I seriously think it is. I have never ever thought I would ever fell this way about someone. just the thought of him makes me short of breath and when he calls I just want to cry im so happy and when he says "I love you baby" I almost want to laugh and cry at the same time. so what is going on here? AM I IN LOVE? I think it is love. I dont even tell my family I love them but I cant help but tell him because I feel in my heart that its true!

I answer questions like this all of the time. Love is unexplainable...no one can ever tell you if you are in love or not because there is absolutely no way to diagnose love. Take a piece of paper and write down the positive and negative things in your relationship. If the negative outweigh the positive, you are not in love but do not end the relationship. (Keep working on it until you see the results that you are satisfied with.) If the positive outweigh the negative, you are STILL NOT IN LOVE! Keep working on it until you reach a level in your relationship that is truly enjoyable. When you have reached that level...then and only then are you truly in love. Good Luck! Little sister, I'm so glad that you're happy with this guy. This is the good stuff. This is why girls bother with guys in the first place. We love this part of a relationship and it's why we bother going through more if one should end.
This sounds like a fairly new relationship. (3-8 months). Just enjoy it while it lasts because unfortunatly it doesn't last forever. ( for various reasons ).
Being in love truely with someone means more than being physically attracted to someone. It's more than wanting to be with that person or talk to that person all the time.
Love is respect, honesty and loyalty. Love is communication and trust. Love is dependability and courage. Love is acceptance and tolerance. If you feel you have those things with this guy then more than likely you're in love my dear.
Just don't loose your head. So many girls do at this point and end up regreting it. Don't let how you feel shadow what's really the best thing for you. For example, just becaue you love him does'nt mean it's ok for unprotected sex. Do you see where i'm goin?
Again, I'm happy for you little lady. Enjoy the good stuff. The world is just plain prettier when in this stage and that's all I want for ya.

well congratulations, it sounds for sure like you are in love! have you taken time to evaluate why you seem to feel this way? you should always ask yourself the following question, (would I love him if ) the if represents the possibilities of life in the future example, if he where sick and couldent talk, if he where broke?, if he could'nt walk or if ... I think you get it but the other question is could you wake up in his arms 20 years from now, (if) if your answer to this question is a loud resounding yes and you are proud of all that he is and you know you would die to keep him safe and better him, then you , young lady are in love. I urge you as a father and a pastor to always share your feelings and emotions with your family, they may not always agree but usually they will be supportive if you are honest and open with them.

You know you're in love when you just know. No questions asked. This could be the real thing, but I remember feeling exactly the same way about a guy and at that point I wasn't quite in love yet.

well hun you are inlove with him and i describe being inlove like this insanity because it drives you crazy so just enjoy it and hope it works out for the both of you,but you said you dont even tell your family you love them that is a different kind of love and you should tell your family you love them because more than likely if anything happens to you they will be the ones that will be there in the end for you and if you love this guy in your heart then it is true love good luck to you cc

You are trying to make a life long decision on emotion alone ! If you really want to know if he is the man for you , Pray about it !! You need to invovle your family too .. However , please pray about it , ask God if this is who He has put here for you . Why all the unhappy marriages that end in divorce, the couples have not asked for Gods` approval.. and is your boyfriend a Christian ??
