in the u.s, you can get legally married at 18, think about that, should people start dating in early high school (9th grade), or is that too young to start dating though u could get married in 4 years, thanks for replieing

I think it depends on maturity. He or she should not date unless they have a good understanding of the dating process. Boys need to really understand the responsibility of doing the right thing. And girls need to know the consequences for many things that she or what the boy does. People only mention these things to the child but does not teach them. Children need more than words to understand. A little hard work from adults can prevent unwanted pregnancies and helping children to know what TRUE LOVE is. Seeing all the unwanted babies and the broken young marriages and the fighting over mates and such, shows that many people are immature when they date and should wait until they develope (mentally) more.

I think 9th grade is the perfect age to start dating. Even though the legal age for marriage is 18, most people don't get married that early (I don't recommend getting married that early anyway -- wait until your mid to late 20's at least!).

Hi, I would say at age 18 or 19 girls should start going out and boys at age 20 or higher.

I think any age past ummmmm (I know this sound shocking but) If they(as in the girl and boy) r ok with it, really, like, 12?

As soon as they can get a date. If they're too young they won't consider it a real relationship when they're older anyway.

well for me i would say 16 years old if the child is of avearge maturity. 15 if the child is above average maturity

you should start dating whenever you feel you are emotionally ready for it, and you should also make sure it's ok with your parents first if you're still living under their roof and are under 18!
