We had just bought a new queen size bed, with the thicker mattresses. We went from a water bed to this.
The phone rang in the morning, and I must have forgotten that I had moved the bed-side table late the night before.. I reached and reached for the phone, still half asleep, when I woke suddenly to find myself falling face first out of bed
I made an interesting landing

YES, it is only you. When gravity states that all mass falls at a certain rate it did not apply to you, just everybody else. Newton, and Einstein describe the universe, but at the bottom of the page was a foot-note that said everything but you...Some day, somebody will kick you out of bed, your thick head will hit the floor, and you will be on some web-site saying... Why Me?

I know some people that have fallen out of bed. If your not a restless sleeper then you probably stay relatively well positioned on the bed thus do not fall out.

I have fallen out of bed.. but I've also woken up right on the edge of the bed nearly leaning off. It's something that our brain is aware of in a subconcious way... it knows where we are on the bed even if our body is "disconnected"

I fall out of bed, every once in a while, but only when I have a problem like dizzyness from an ear infection or our big fat cat crowds me out.
