Inspite of the snide answers you have received so far, there HAVE been mystics who are linked to God in the very way you have just described.
The Book, "Song of Songs," or "Song of Solomon," in the Old Testement, describes the relationship of the soul linked God, in spirtual intimacy.
Among the numerous titles of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is Spouse Of the Holy Spirit, because Mary Conceived Jesus By the Power of the Holy Spirit.
During the persecution of Christians in pagan Rome, numerous young Christian girls would consecrate their virginity to Christ, their Heavenly Spouse, & were even Martyred for it. Example: St. Agnes.
When nuns take their vows of chastity, they vow to serve Christ as their Spouse.
Mystics such as St. Teresa of Avila, had visions of being Married to Christ.

I think, because God is love, we were created for intimacy with him. The concept of the Trinity, God being three equal beings so intimate with each other that they are also one, supports the idea well.
(And the story about the Fall insinuates we were once completely open and free -- intimate -- before God, and then that union was broken and we now are seeking a restoration of that intimacy.)
St. Theresa often wrote of herself and God in terms of the passionate love relationship. God continually refers to Israel as his bride, and Jesus is commonly compared to the bridegroom (and the "church" as a body is the wife).
I think marriage and the sexual relationship within marriage is the best example of intimacy we get to experience here... and it's just a dim reflection of what intimacy with God will be like after death.
Some of what you said, I'm having a little trouble staying with. I think I understand your "moon and earth" reference to those moments when you feel at one with everything, alive, joined, part of things -- it's a sort of transcendent moment.
Since God created both of those things (they are not beings, but special creations), I would consider that experience to be a taste of what intimacy with God would feel like -- even moreso, since the moon and earth are just impersonal creations, while the God of the Bible is extremely personal and the creator.
When you're "in sync," you probably feel mature, at peace, at rest, fulfilled. Other times, you feel like a teenager -- sort of lost, running from place to place, caught up in the moment, and such. That's human. You can't stay in the groove forever, but merely capture a taste, enough to drive you ahead. One day, if you are truly in a relationship with God, that moment will not have to end but will merely be the beginning...
I would just say keep pushing towards God, and see the feelings you pick up from creation as signposts towards Him... not as ends in themselves.

Dear, despite what you may be feeling, I think your mixing acid and base together here.
Jesus is Lord.. born without sin and the only thing ever to be sinless to death.
If you mean a platonic love, I think everyone should be in love with Jesus.. But this Moon and earth thing, I think is another ball game all together since we are to believe in him totally.
