I am watching that now. My two year old is asleep so i feel pretty good about that. However I wouldn't worry too much about it. Their minds are impressionable but as long as its not violence or swearing you're doing the best you can. you have to have a life too. Believe me I know it is challenging. I agree with Im done, if the content is inappropriate then cover the ears or eyes.

Better to keep your eye on a one year old than leave them on their own. Be sure to interact with them during the commercials --

Don't let the TV be a distraction. There are always reruns or video tape the show for when the baby is asleep.

Glad you were smart enough to ask the question.

No, your 1 year old has no idea what's going on TV. They have no idea what's going on during their "favorite TV shows." I can't remember a thing about when I was 1 or 2 or 3 years old.

Your a bad mom, your baby should be in bed by 7pm sleeping. You must not stimulate your child enough during the day physically or mentally or even have a nap and feeding schedule. Your kid will wind up fat and stupid you don't start taking care of it better.

I think it depends on the child. If your child is prone to repeating things he/she hears on other shows then it is most likely he/she will pick something up on that show and knowing how kids are will probably say it out loud in church or somewhere else in public. I do not believe that they understand what is going on in the show, but they are likely to repeat what they hear on the show.

Be careful with that. Although young children may not seem to be paying attention to adult situations, they are little sponges and pay more attention than you think. I learned this the hard way when my 18 mo. (at the time) started saying "Sh*t" when she'd drop something.
