A government apportioned to reflect the population as a whole , would have to be appointed, because elections, as we've seen in the history of democracy would never bring it about. So, whomever would appoint these people, would be required to circumvent democracy to get the proper apportionment, and we'd be stuck with a totalitarianism by a few appointees. It may make our government a little more PC in representation, but a tyranny by the few who did the appointing.

I think she means that those particular representitives, would be voted for thier group- like women voted from women, jewish rep voted from the jewish population-
just like NY reps voted from NY state
interesting Idea. I think they would have a lot of late nights. I think i like the idea better than a bunch of big fat white guys.
but I don't know if there would be an extreme difference- I think certain republican, democratic and liberitarian reps would be just as divided as your reps

Having a diversified government to reflect our population is wrong. You place people who were voted in into office, not based on the color of their skin or gender. This kind of bias would doom freedom.

When you mix Muslims into the government, the only thing you'll get is civil war. Arabs agree only to disagree.

The government is as bad as it is by design. It started out apportioned but has changed.

Power is power, it matters not who is wielding it, it all goes to their heads eventually, it just takes some longer than others.
