if you make at least 18,000 a year you can get a loan from www.citiassist.com. They pay directly to the school of your choice though. If you don't make that much, you should try to find a co-signer. parent, relative, anybody who will trust you. Another private loan you might be interested in is key loans at http://www.key.com/html/H-1.32.b1.html. Key will let you apply without a co-signer as well, but the interest rate is higher. Remember that you don't get this money directly, they pay it to your school to disburse to your student account. Hope this information helps.

Many students don't qualify for private loans on their own so you're not alone. Your best bet is to get someone to cosign with you. You'd be able to piggyback off their credit rating, even as you'd be responsible for the loan.

Higher Education is just a tool for you to find independance, it is not a guarantee to financial freedom. It appears that you messed up your free ride, so I am afraid that you have discovered your financial future early. Quit whinning, get a job, and learn from your mistakes...

Look for private scholarships. Your school may have a list, and probably you could look online for more.
