Yes. . .believe it or not. . .in the House of Windsor (through the Scottish Prince James blood line).

King ZEDEKIAH (from David's House of Judah) allegedly sent his daughter. . .and the Prophet Jeremiah. . .to Tara in Ireland to marry the Celtic King. . .which, in time, became the Scottish Prince James I (of the King James Bible). . .who, by default, was ultimately invited to become the English monarch (after Mary, Queen of Scots, was beheaded by her cousin, Elizabeth I, who susequently never married and therefore was unable to produce an heir).

Note: Zedekiah was the last unbroken line of blood heirs from King David directly and upon Judah's fall to the Babylonians. . .forced to watch the execution of his sons, then eyes gored and subsequently taken to Babylon for the remainder of his life. (So the argument goes.. .David's blood line lived on through his daughter's progeny. . .as she was sent secretly. . .with Jeremiah. . .to carry out her task and to stay alive.)

This entire. . .speculative theory. . .called British-Israelism. . .was quite popular in the 19th Century. . .and in some ways rivals the Di Vinci Code theories.

Is it true? Who really knows. . .but for several centuries. . .when the newest Prince of Wales is born. . .the head Mohel in London performs the circumcision of an age old tradition. . .tradition? In a country where circumcisions have been historically a fairly small percentage of the male gentile population?

Btw. . .blood lineage for kingship. . .per the Bible. . .is not the true mark of legitimacy in the eyes of G-d. . .First of all, G-d never sanctioned political kingship. . .he left it to the people to decide for themselves. Secondly, blood was not the measure of worthiness. . .consider that David himself (the youngest son of Jesse). . .displaced King Saul!

Hope this helps!

I saw a web page once that insisted Prince Charles is a descendant of King David. I don't know if it's true.

When God allowed Israel to be completely destroyed in 70 A.D., their lineage was also destroyed so that in time no one could say with any certainty or legally what tribe they were from. This also took away the possibility that someone else could claim to be the messiah because they could not legally prove they where from the tribe of Judah.

Contrary to modern mythology, I believe there are descendents of the Twelve Tribes of Israel alive today.

There are descendants of all the twelve tribes of David still among us. The twelve tribes of Israel will someday get all the land that God promised.

Thats what the whole Da Vinci Code thing is about. If there are still descendants, they would be of Jesus Christ also.
