Just be honest with him. If he likes you the same he'll tell you. If not, he'll say so. In the end you'll still be friends....maybe even more. Good luck. :)

well i know u are shy for begins so u can talk to him in Private so u wont get the answer u don't want in front of other just in case...tell him that u love your friendship with him dearly but u are afraid to say that u want more than a friendship,say that u love him and if he don't feel the same way u don't want this to effect you'll friendship and there u will get your answer...little tip look good when u do this so he can have something to think about and make this a friends day out to ask this question that will really make him think about what a good person u are and if u can kiss him if he says yes???

okay do this in order
1- make yourself more visible (be around him ex. if he is going to a game with his buddies then you go with your friends /mutual friends
2- one on one talking. strike up the convo (a little bit more than "the weather is great today")
3- ask him out with friends (movies with friends- and ask him yourself if him and his buddies want to tag along)
4- sit next to him at the movies
5- more talk
6- be brave and ask him if he wants to go with just you to the movies or pool or whatever and then he should get the hint if not then ask him on another date. if you feel the connection ask him to be your boyfriend
