I'd say about 16 to 20 weeks but it depends on your body. Some women show at 12 weeks. I had a sonogram at 12 weeks, but I think it depends on the doctor. It won't harm the baby. Best wishes!!

It all depends on pre-pregnancy body and number of pregnancies. Usually about 4-5 months (avg. size person) for first pregnancy and about 3-4 for second/third pregnancies. Twins, some at 3-4months.

Reasons for getting an early sonogram:
-heartbeat couldn't be heard by doppler
-to determine gestational age of the baby (irregular cycle)
-history of miscarriage
-confirm multiples

everyone is different! How many pregnancies, the woman's physical build, the physical shape she is in, all change when she shows. I am now pregnant with #3, and I am petite and very thin. With my first, I started showing at 4 1/2 months. My second was obvious at 3 months. This time, I was in much better muscular condition, and I made it to about 4 months without a pooch.

This is a very tough question to answer since it depends on how many pregnancies you have had, size, your weight, abdominal muscles, and so many other things. With my first pregnancy, I didn't show until around the 5th month, with this last pregnancy, I swear I was showing by 8 weeks!

Depends on the woman. Also may depend on if it is the 1st or 2nd pregnancy. I am small boned. I didn't start showing until i wuz 5 months the 1st time. Three or Four months the second.

depends on the body type and whether or not if this is a first pregnancy. i started really showing at 5 months (my first pregnancy) and my friend whose pregnant now with second baby is 3 months and she looks like she could be 7 months. as i said it really all depends.

I would think about the 16 thru the 20 week would be a great answer. 3 and a half to 5 months is when you really begin to see it.

depends on how much you weigh before you get pregnant, and also if this is a first child or not

if you were already overweight before pregnancy it takes longer to show, and also if its your first child.

Normally, 2nd trimester, about 12 weeks or so, most people start showing some... earlier if you've had several children
