For editing try the free Google Picasa program Its wonderful ,easy and free I use it and the snapfish developing service photo service with it .Very happy with both Hope this helps

I have a 2175 all in one Cartridges are pricey for sure but II dislike the software with it But I like the scanner

I don't know about HP , but I have a Lexmark P3150 Print Trio , and I love the way you can scan photos and edit them-easy and very clear photos. very cheap also-50.00 to 75.00 range.
