I am Wiccan, and we recognize that all faiths are of the Creator's plan. That each individual incarnates to learn, set upon a predestined path, to achieve communion with the Divine. Why is it that the "Big Box" faiths hate us so much? Do you not realize that the hatred you spread is hurting humanity on the whole? Humans are killing Humans in the name of God as we speak, but Jesus taught LOVE, not HATE, and yet you slander our faith with lies and propaganda designed to incite fear into the hearts of those who are already afraid. Wiccans believe in Jesus too, you know. He was a divine prophet sent to set humanity straight. Muslims accept that he was a divine prophet, and yet Christians cannot do the same for them, with their Muhammad, who very well may have been Jesus reincarnate. And the Roman Catholic church excised some of the most enlightening things he had to teach us. For the Christians who will answer- have you studied the Lost Gospel of St. Thomas?

I do recognize Muhammad as a prophet, thank you very much.

I think Christians are being oppressed with fear as well. And whoever told that person that Muhammad RAPED? He spoke categorically against it. GET EDUCATED

In the last book of the gospel, it says you shall not add to it, but does it say anything about taking things out? The Roman Catholic church, along with King James, took out BUNCHES of scripture. The Gospel of St. Thomas, you will find in Apocrypha, and it wasn't added, it was taken out.

to just4rsake:
It was taken out of the bible, you can still find it in the apocrypha, but as to why, I cannot say; obviously the Roman Catholic leaders saw that it was quite enlightening and they could not have Jesus telling the people that you can worship anywhere. They wanted to build their Churches, and have their "flock" so that they could systematically take away from us any belief that you can commmune with God,dess without having to step foot inside a Church. It would have put them out of business. Please research this.

I choose peace.
The world can be an angry, evil, judgemental & hateful place. I try not to be a part of that. I get angry, but I use my creativity to channel the positive vibes that I need to survive and be a part of the solution. I have what I feel is more than my fair share of problems, and I get upset, but try to do the right thing, be kind even when I feel like the world is not kind to me. I seek spiritual enlightenment daily.
As far as religion, I do not judge and I have found personal strength in a few different belief systems. Man's law can misconstrued things so that they can be used to control people for various reasons.
~I ask for Divine help quite often & I believe in Karma~

I also want world peace, but there will always be people who want to take away our freedoms, and that would be too high a cost to pay. Yes, Jesus wanted us all to love instead of hate. But He knew that it would never happen, because that is human nature. I've never heard of the Lost Gospel of St. Thomas, but I have to wonder why it wasn't included in the Bible if it was all true. As a Christian, I believe that the Bible was the inspired Word of God, and if He had intended for it to be there, it would have been. I may not agree with all you believe, but I appreciate your point of view, and I do agree that the world would be a better place if we could learn to love each other in spite of our disagreements.

Muhammad was a horrible man who did unspeakable things worshiping a man who rapped little girls and boys is totally different than those who worship Jesus. Muslims are following a religion based on fear and oppression of the many so that the few can prosper. Why dont you study up a bit on this matter before you go and represent a violent, child raping, murderer as aJesus reincarnated.

What have YOU done to foster better feelings in this world? Have you adopted a child that its life might exist on or near your level? Do you give anything to support at lest one under privilege child? You do not need to answer publicly, but have you done anything to show love or support for anyone that you do not know?

You have already added to the ugly issues among us when you start touting one faith over another! If you want people to respond in the way that you believe is right, then be an example by your actions, then maybe you will find answerer's that you are looking for!

Of course we all want world peace; that would be wonderful! I think you have your facts wrong, though- or else I completely misunderstood you. We Christians do not follow Muhammad, or believe that he had any connection to Jesus. Jesus did teach love, but also, He taught God's laws, and the punishment for breaking them. However, I agree that it is not man's responsibility to carry out that punishment. God said in the Bible, "It is mine to Avenge, I will repay."
and in answer to your last question, no, I have not read the "Lost Gospels." In the last book of the Bible, it says that no one shall add to it.

I am with you! And am a Wiccan too! But this is not about religion as others have said here. Peace is for everyone. How do we get started on this now? Who can make the next suggestion? What can we Do next? Perhaps we can try to be kinder to each other and more tolerate of others differences. Maybe we can even appreciate their differences and realize we each have a different piece of the puzzle to add.
Now what can you add?

Thanks For Your Question :)

Well there is just one part that I want to clarify here ....why you say that Muhammad peace be upon him is a reincarnation of Jesus ?? I mean Jesus was never a leader of country or a nation but Muhammad(pbuh) was , Jesus was never a good warrior but Muhammad(pbuh) was I mean since you say that Jesus is the prophet and messenger of God why don't you wanna believe or say that Muhammad is the messenger or God too ?

Wow, sorry about all that.
I am a believer in God and Jesus and that everyone is entitled to their beliefs. I took my boys to all the churches in the area and when they got old enough to decide on their religion, they did just that. Just the way i did.
I think we should Love, live and let live and PASS IT FORWARD. Have you seen that movie. It's an excellent concept.
