I'm starting to become interested in nutrition, and was thinking about becoming either a nutritionist or a dietitician when I get older. Whats the difference? How much money do they make? Can you give me some info? :]

A nutritionist analyzes specific needs for diets/allergies/health needs. A dietician analyzes the specific changes necessary in a diet or plans the diet to lose weight, etc. They are very similar, and it would actually be beneficial to major in both, if that's not possible, major in the one that appeals to you a little bit more and minor in the other! Since they are so similar, they will overlap somewhere in health, life, dieting, etc.....
Good luck to you!

Check out the American Dietetic Association website. They have loads of information about the practical field of nutrition. I am a registered clinical dietitan, retired now, but I worked in the burn center and intensive care units at a large metropolitan hospital. I was responsible for nutritional assessments and hyperalimentation of critical care patients. It is an exciting field. I last worked in the VA hospital in Charleston, SC in 1981 and I made $32,000 per year.
