It's not like a toothpaste brand. People live their lives on what they believe. Are people so naive to think they can change one's belief system by posting on Yahoo? Wow!

I guess eveyone has the hope that they can change someones life by thier own testimony or what they believe is the truth.
Christians, Muslims, Jews and others all want te world to believe as they do. They believe in their own truth and want to convince everyone who inquires.

Because thier chosen religion has changed thier life for the better, they feel as if the person they are speaking with will feel the same impact they did upon acceptance of thier faith.

Wow! You're ignorant! Stop complaining about what others are doing. You sound like a 4-year old child! Grow up and don't worry so much about what other people do. People can say what they want. If you don't like it, don't read what they have to say! You're not the god of Yahoo. GET A LIFE!

Well, people come here for answers to questions. This is, afterall, a Q & A section. I do the best I can to tell them the Truth. It's then up to them to either pursue it further, or reject it completely.

I can do nothing of my own power to convert someone. All I can be is a mouthpiece for God, helping to spread His Truth as He has taught it. Only God can change the heart. I'm nothing more than His tool.

I pray this helps.

God bless,

Danny

I don't know if you mean any one group of young people but I think Christians are very susceptible to being overbearing and obnoxious because of the powerful and amazing changes that God has made in their lives.

They can be very Zealous to share, just like I've seen teenagers try to convince everyone that they all should love their favorite band or type of pizza or restaurant.

Why are you singling out young people? Almost everybody does this about their beliefs, not just about their religious beliefs, but their lifestyle. Bullying is the underlying problem in schools, workplaces, churches and communities across the country. People want to judge others by their standards and are willing to argue, fight and sometimes kill to impose that on other people. Surely, this is not news to you.

Yes, they are so naive to think they can change one's belief through Yahoo! Answers. My question to you is, why do you target young people? There are old people that do it too.

Because they asked the question. In the Religion and Spirituality section. If I were less caring, I would at least do it for the points. Go ask Yahoo! why they have this section here.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I look at it this way. I have my beliefs , they have their beliefs. I respect others for what they feel and if they don't believe in a certain thing, then just leave them a lone. I think that people like to add fuel to another's fire.

It's not a matter of saying the right thing. When it come to faith, then the answers one gives should come from the Bible, in fact their entire life should reflect that what they have learned from Gods word, has importance and meaning to them. Their life course should reflect this.

Why, why, why do people get on a computer and go to a religious forum, and then ask silly questions?
