Is it easier to just say "it doesnt matter, they are criminals and they must be deported" than to actually think about it, than to listen to our reality? We have explained why they are here, their tribulations, and the things they make better by being here. Is it easier to say "they are criminals, deport them" than to hear the truth?

I am not saying that we should not enforce laws. I am saying that the government needs to rethink certain laws because they are not appropriate.

The truth is they are criminals, they are here illegally. I don't want to deport them, I want them in jail, along with the people that hire them. That would stop them from coming here. Sure they're good people and they've had it rough, but we have to think about America first. We do a lot to make things better around the world, but our country is full.

The real TRUTH IS they are breaking the law and laws are not made to be broken !! They have no more right to break the law than we do. You dam* sure wouldn't get away with breaking the law in there country. If Americans are so hated in the rest of the world like they say we are, why then does the world keep coming to us asking for a hand out, and ruining all our jobs by lowering the wage paid to do a job. I don't care what your situation, you have no right to try to take over another country and try to make them do what you want them to do just because they are a big hearted accommodating people. Laws were made to be obeyed, they were made for a reason, no one has any kind of right to break the law no matter what there situation. If that were so, it would be OK for anyone to rob a store or bank just because they need money. Or do people like you think that is OK?? Be real, think in terms of reality.

It's not about hearing their side or it being easier or what they offer us. It's about the fact that we live in a world where the rule of law is supposed to be absolute.
We aren't supposed to enforce the "easy" laws or the ones we "like". We're supposed to enforce ALL of the laws. If the law is bad or wrong, then petition to have it changed or crusade to have it abolished. But the fact is these people, as wonderful and as helpful as they may be are criminals. Period.
Wishful thinking doesn't change this. Saying "they have it rough" doesn't change this. Saying "but they've done so much" doesn't change this. They are criminals. At best, these mitigating circumstances MAY impact the punishment... but not that a crime was comitted.
As I said before, if you don't like the law, then look for a way to join a cause and change it. But don't pretend that the law doesn't exist just because you don't like it.

The truth is that we are a country with limited resources though everyone likes to think we are not. If you come here, make it legal. That's all the law asks. That's hardly unreasonable. That is the truth.

The truth is they are being used for slave labor!
The rich who employ them ARE the criminals, and that is why a Republican president and Congress would rather spend our money by putting up an idiotic fence, while not addressing the issue of their friends!

If they are here illegally, then yes they are criminals. I know their lives suck but if they want to come in legally they should apply for citizenship. If they don't have any skill we don't want them here. There is a shortage of jobs for american citizens and all the illegal aliens are taking the reamaining jobs because they don't have to get paid minimum wage so imployers are more apt to hire them, even though it is illegal.

Yes, We have a right as a nation to deport illegals. There are legal channels to allow immigrants citizenship. If you can't meet standards, go home.
