It's called a double standard. He wants to check out the "merchandise" maybe take it for a "test run". But chances are, he's not going to get the floor model, it's been "used" by too many other drivers who drove it hard. They will get the "Flashy" model that hasn't been driven and then dress it down so it won't be confused with the floor model.

It's demeaning to a woman to be considered trash for the same thing a man does and he is considered more of a man having done so.

In the olden days it was to ensure the child of the union was the man's. But these days there are contraceptives AND adoption. The playing field has been leveled, but the guys want to play by the old rules.
