My first serious relationship when I was 19 the guy ended up coming out and being gay. I have dated men since. Then 16 years later after several normal relationships my ex fiance who I was with for 5 years turns out to be gay. We've been broke up for a year and I found out now that he came out and is gay.

Seriously, there are bi men and women everywhere so yes there are men out there like that who are attracted to women as well. There are also men out there on are merely on the DL(down low) who date women publicly to fit into society without being prejudiced against while sleeping with men secretly. Sooner or later for whatever reason(s) or new courage they finally come out. Don't take it personal, dear.

being gay is a very cinfusing thing, i am gay myself and do not think of girls in a sexual manor but still find them attractive. its kind of like a straight person thinking someone of the same sex is attractive, but of course with no sexual drive for that person.
as people have said there are pressures on all males to date women from society, therefore sometimes when a homosexual male finds a woman attractive he will date her. i myself, as i have said, am gay but not completly out to the world. i made the decision about 5 years ago, when finally coming to terms with myself, that i would not date any females because i did not want to hurt them, but i started to notice that some girls were attracted to me, and when i would not go any farther than being friends with them they would find another guy they liked, and often he was a closet gay as well.
for some reason there are some women out there that are attracted to gay males, and usually it is because they do not know they are gay. it is an unfortunate thing but you will eventually find the right man, and he wont be gay lol.
one thing to ponder on this topic is that gay guys feel somewhat of the same pain as you feel when they like a guy that ends up being straight.

There are societal pressures for a gay man to behave as though he is straight. Being hetero-sexual is socially accepted, homosexuality is not. There is pressure to have a girl friend, get married, have children. Most homosexuals will never realize these milestones in life.
The best thing for you to do is ask yourself why you did not notice, and stop the pattern from repeating itself.
I've been there too. Open up your eyes and find someone who is really in love with you and is not just using you to seem "straight".

Gay Men can defenitly be attracted to straight women. All it takes is to be able to recognize the beauty that they individual has.
I aint gay, but im sure everyone agrees with that.

Because they are trying to deal with "society" in that they do not want to be gay since society would put them down... It's actually a common problem...

Being gay has a negative stigma so they try to be normal. They date girls and hope they can be "normal" by societies standards.

yes but when they get to know them and they finaly tell them that your gay then she'll dump you so it best you jusy stick with dating guys.
