I know! The frizzy hair thing sucks! First, do you have straight or curly hair? My hair is kinda both, but very dry and frizzy from too much dying, lol! Try Friz Ease which can be found at Wal-Mart. It has pretty simple instructions on the back. If your hair is straight, try going to a beauty supply store and getting something called BioShine. It's very easy to use and will make your hair look like silk! I am a cosmetologist, so if you have anymore questions, feel free to e-mail me at Autumn_Anne@yahoo.com. Good luck with that mane girl! I feel for ya!

Choose a hair stylist experienced in curly/dry hair.

Have your hair stylist help you choose a hairstyle that is easy to maintain--preferably one that just requires a wet-and-go approach.

Once you have your favored style, visit your stylist at least 4 times a year to trim split ends.

Don't let your hair stylist use a razor to layer your hair (although layering is good.) Razors contribute to split ends.

Don't wash hair every day. This kind of hair needs the natural oils from your scalp to reduce frizz.

To upkeep your desired style, just wet hair with some conditioner on non-washing days (rinse thoroughly).

Avoid using hairdryers unless necessary. Blowdrying hair dries it out. If you must use a hair dryer than make sure you use a diffuser.

Believe it or not, grease, mousses and gels make caring for this kind of hair harder!! Chemical build-ups require more washing than is healthy.

If you must use products, use high-quality, health-food store or salon products that leave little residue.

Do not brush, unless you want a 'fro.

Love your hair! Many are envious of the regal quality of curly hair!

Hope this helps~

Me too. Unless it is humid as hell the method I am about to tell you worked for me. I buy Lorelle spray gel. I wash my hair and condition with Dove. I towel up my hair. (after I dry off etc etc) I take the towel off my head and spray the gel on. Then I put the towel back on my head for a few more minutes. Blow dry. Spray a little more gel if i run into frizz. Continue to blow dry, cause i like to straighten my hair and stuff. Then I use a curl iron. After my hair is all dry I pull it all back in a loose pony tail. You know those cloth head bands people wear on their heads. Well that is what i use as a loose pony tail holder. ( don't put hair up it'll crimp it) Its not as long an ordeal as it sounds and it works for me. Try it.

I also have frizzy hair, while not a complete solution (still a bit of frizz left), I've found that using a hair straightner (heat) helps keep to frizz down.

For thick hair use conditioner all over. For thin hair just use it on the ends or frizzy parts.

You should try a straight iron. Try to find on with ceramic plates though because it is much better for your hair. My suggestion is the Chi. While it is expensive, it is worth every penny.
