I am originally from Italy and will get married June 2007 in my hometown in Northern Italy. Since my hubby is from Ohio, we decided to have one ceremony with reception white dress and all in Italy and another reception (but no ceremony) in Ohio. Do you think it's appropriate if I wear my white dress at the reception in Ohio?

Heck yeah...save the money! Honey you will be wonderful!!! BTW I live in Ohio ...Can I crash your wedding? I Will bring a Friends and our own refreshments and make sure you have no cheeky relatives bothering you all drunk...I will even pledge to dance with them...I am in Akron. Invite me? I MUST see this dress!!! It is totally appropriate. Do NOT let allow anyone to tell you no. Even if I cannot crash your wedding, WEAR THE DRESS!
BTW i am kidding, I would never crash a wedding it just was so fun to write!!!!!

Yes my friend did the same thing. You paid for your dress and I would get all the enjoyment out of it as possible. Plus, some of the people will have never seen it before.

I certainly would. People will love seeing your dress. Otherwise you could dress in a more casual dress. If I loved my wedding dress, I would use it for both receptions.
