I have a bichon frise!!! They definately do not shed, and ironically are white and fluffy; I know that golden retrievers do shed alot, so i wouldnt choose them. i think it was labradoodles or cockapoodles that also don't shed, i would check on that though. you can buy a book at border's or any other book store on dogs , they would say if they shed or not. that's what i did. or use the internet, that always works. i hope you find the perfect non-shedding dog!

Poodles (which are also the second smartest dogs in the world), bichons, portugese water dogs, maltese shed a little but not a lot, Yorkies the same. Shih Tzu's and Lhasa Apsos shed some but mildly, tibetan terriers, silky terriers...most of the dogs you have to maintain their hair (haircuts and such) don't shed or shed very little. Italian greyhounds have the shedding type hair but it's so thin and short most people don't notice it.

All dogs that have fur will shed, every animal that has fur or hair sheds. You shed your hair everyday!

Yorkshire terriers. Their hair grows long and needs to be brushed often, but they don't shed too much.
