Adam didn't die after Eve ate the apple. They were both cast out of the Garden of Eden. Then after that, they had two children, Cain and Able.
My question is this: If God only created two humans to begin with, and they, at the time, only had two children, then where did Cain's wife, Lilith, come from?

Never saw that version of the story. The real question is who did Cain or Abel have as a mate to create the rest of the population of the world?

What is death? It is being separated from God. Prior to their sin they had a perfect relationship with God. In their innocence they could stand in his presence. They could walk and talk with him face to face. After their sin they were separated from him. That is death.
